Never use lighter fluid. Instead, use Big Green Egg SpeediLight All-Natural Charcoal Starters or an Electric Starter. Simply place the starters in the lump charcoal, light them, and leave the dome open for about 10 minutes before closing to reach your desired temperature.
What is your shipping policy for large EGG packages?
Due to the weight and fragile nature of ceramic, large EGGs are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Orders typically process within 2-3 business days, and the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment to ensure safe arrival.
Does the Big Green Egg come with a warranty?
Yes, every Big Green Egg carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the ceramic components (dome, base, fire box, and fire ring) for the original purchaser, ensuring your investment is protected for years of use.
Can I use regular charcoal briquettes in my EGG?
We strongly recommend using only 100% Natural Lump Charcoal. Briquettes contain fillers, chemicals, and binders that can affect the flavor of your food and create excessive ash that restricts airflow in the ceramic chamber.
What is your return policy?
Unused and unopened accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Due to safety and weight constraints, Big Green Egg units themselves are subject to a restocking fee and must be in their original packaging to qualify for a return.
